World doubled vaccine delivery to 11bn in 2021

A total of 11 billion Covid-19 vaccine doses were produced and delivered to countries globally in 2021, which is twice the volume of the total global vaccine market in the pre-Covid year, 2019, for routine immunization. 5 new tiger reserves likely in India this year

Five more sites are expected to be formally declared tiger reserves by 2022-end, taking the total number to 56. The Centre has given approval of granting the status to three new sites and agreed in-principle to give its nod to two more. The three sites which got approval are MM Hills in Karnataka, Guru Ghasidas National Park in Chhattisgarh and Ramgarh Vishdhari in Rajasthan. The two which got in-principle nod are Dibang Wildlife Sanctuary in Arunachal and Kaimur Wildlife Sanctuary in Bihar.
