The recent advent of the stump microphones has only magnified the focus on the on-field behaviour of players. "What we tell players is that if you want to say something that you don't want to be heard, then don't say it. Stump microphones have the ability to create an atmosphere...but some of the chatter is very informative," said ICC CEO David Richardson.
