Athletics accounted for a maximum 39 anti-doping rule violations (ADRVs), followed closely by weightlifting (23) and wrestling (12). Not far behind, boxing, judo and kabaddi are the other big contributors to the doping menace in Olympic sports with eight positive cases each.
