A retired armyman, in his mid-50s, allegedly got his 27-year-old son killed by a contract killer to take revenge on his estranged wife. The incident occurred at Chhur village in the Sardhana area of UP’s Meerut, said police. According to officials, the accused, Sanjeev Kumar, allegedly conspired with a local man, identified as Amit (30), and paid him Rs 5 lakh to get rid of his son, Sachin Kumar.
